NavShip is a navigation assistance software designed for nautical use in Europe, Canada, and the United States. With an extensive database of over 250,000 waterways, it is the ideal choice for inland waterway routing. However, it's important to note that some rivers and seas may not be included yet. If you come across any missing waterways, you can request their implementation by using the contact form in the app menu under "report error". Rest assured, NavShip's team is dedicated to promptly adding new waterways to enhance your experience.

The free version of NavShip offers route planning for up to 40 km (25 miles) and tracking for up to 8 km. It's worth mentioning that the free version contains advertisements, but unfortunately, the app does not provide information on water depths.

One of NavShip's standout features is its ability to calculate routes even when there's an ocean between your starting point and destination. Whether you're traveling from London to Rome, Paris to Amsterdam, or any other route around the world, NavShip has got you covered.

By enabling the "Wear OS support" functionality in the side menu under "settings," you can connect your smartwatch with the app and enjoy live routing on your wrist. With this feature, you'll have access to real-time updates on your current speed, course offset, distance, travel time, and upcoming markers such as bridges or locks.
